Who has the right to inflict any sort pain or discomfort on a living thing? No one.

Recently people have brought to my attention the subject of animal cruelty. It disgusted me that people are actually supporting and condoling this viciously cruel issue. Seen as though I feel so passionately about this cause, I figured it should be the first thing i right about.

I will start with some awful facts which should make the whole world feel ashamed. Under the current law, 12 million animals in europe each year are caged then poisoned, restrained, cut open, given brain damage, genetically manipulated, killed, and subjected to painful distressing and unnecessary procedures. The sickening thing about all this is that it is legal and it happens on a regular basis!

Animal experimentation can never predict human outcomes and 90% of drugs passing animal trials fail in humans. This is crazy, it shouldn’t be happening! People are so narrow minded, they refuse to acknowledge the problem. The governments are making money out of these ridiculous experiments, so they will not stop them without being put under pressure.

People need to dig deep and find their compassion and speak out. The Law on animal experimentation is being revised by the European Parliament right now and if pressure is put on the politicians we may be able to stop this outrageous act. If the law is amended millions of animals caged in laboratories can avoid this suffering.

This is probably extremely graphic and angry, and most of all extremely boring but i don’t care. It’s for all those people who say PETA is wrong and they don’t do anything. They are driven by these disturbing findings and videos which I’m sure you have all seen.
